We deeply believe in the law of attraction, that's why we want our customers to spread a positive and strong aura. The swimwear designs shall make women self-confident, underline a woman's independence, and make women strive for freedom.

Through high conviction that self-confidence thrives from the alignment of mind, body and soul, it's important to us that women do not only look confident on the beach, but to feel confident all over. To achieve this goal, L'AURA offers one free blog post or article that covers related topics each month for every member.

#2 Fabrics

Our fabrics are #madeinitaly - amazing quality is guaranteed! We use 100% recycled fabrics which are mainly produced of fishing nets. 

Also, all of our used fabrics carry the STANDARD 100 label. This means, you can be certain that every component of the textiles has been tested for harmful substances and that the article is therefore harmless for human health.

#3 Production

All our bikinis and swimsuits are #madeinitaly. As a sustainable brand, we do not only want our fabrics to be sustainable, but the whole infrastructure. Having a completely locally based production chain, makes it possible to us to reduce CO2 emissions, too. The location of the manufacturer allows us to closely collaborate with them and ensure ethical working conditions of all the parties involved in the production process.

#4 Packaging

Our packaging is locally manufactured in Europe, meaning a lower transportation footprint compared to goods produced and imported from abroad. 

Unlike normal plastic bags, our mailing bags are made of biodegradable material. It is therefore industrially compostable and will break down to natural elements found in nature.

On top of that, the adhesive protective hygiene try-on stickers we use are certified commercially compostable. The sticker is a coated transparent high gloss film produced from wood pulp (especially formulated to contain a high percentage of renewable materials) and the backing is white glassine paper (100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable).

#5 Climate-Neutral Shipping

We chose to ship with Liechtensteinische Post AG as it offers the possibility to ship climate-neutral. But what does this exactly mean? Liechtensteinische Post AG has been working with ClimatePartner Switzerland since mid-2021. The company helps to implement climate protection strategies and to calculate, reduce and also offset CO2 emissions through climate protection projects.

#6 Supporting Our Oceans

With each purchase you make in our store, we are removing one kilo of ocean plastic. Currently, the donations go to India, specifically Andaman Islands. The project is carried out by Green Worms Waste Management, a locally and social impact-oriented waste management organization. Green Worms' mission is to ensure sustainable plastic waste management in India for coastal towns, villages, and islands. Visit their website for more information!
